Renowned gambling behemoth, bet365, has appointed seasoned professional, Nick Hughes, as the new chief executive officer of its gaming division. Hughes made the announcement via his LinkedIn profile, sharing his enthusiasm about undertaking this new role.
With a longstanding tenure at bet365, Hughes is quite familiar with the workings of the company and has served them dutifully for nearly a decade. Initiating his journey with the gambling mammoth in August 2014, Hughes first worked as a gaming customer service advisor. Within a year of his tenure, he was elevated to the role of operations gaming support advisor.
In December of 2015, Hughes was promoted to the role of bet365’s operations gaming support team leader, where he continued to work for almost two years. Subsequently, he was appointed as the company’s operation gaming support supervisor. After a year in this role, he got the opportunity to serve as the deputy manager of the operations gaming support team.
By August 2019, Hughes advanced to the role of manager of the operations gaming support team. Almost two years later, his consistent performance led to his promotion as bet365’s deputy head of gaming. Owing to his meritorious service, he eventually became the head of gaming a year later.
Besides his extensive tenure at bet365, Hughes has also spent considerable time working with a number of other eminent corporations. His resume flaunts tenures as a senior resourcing consultant at the Costain Group, as a recruitment consultant at the Concorde Group, in addition to various other roles including a managing consultant at Beach Baker Property Recruitment, and a consultant at Judd Farris and Intelligent Staffing Solutions.
In his current responsibility, Hughes is entrusted with the onus of supervising and implementing bet365’s gaming product strategy.
Clarifying his sentiments regarding the new responsibility, Hughes took to his LinkedIn profile to express his exhilaration.

Meanwhile, bet365 has been active in establishing a recent alliance with Evolution, gaining permission to access the latter company’s innovative line of games. This new development permits betting enthusiasts to enjoy popular games like Crazy Time, Dream Catcher, and Monopoly Live, to name a few.
Adding to their portfolio, bet365 has also incorporated content from EGT Digital, an organization based in Bulgaria, specializing in iGaming technology.
Simultaneously, the AUSTRAC has commenced an AML investigation into bet365’s Hillside brand, cautioning that any non-compliance instances will warrant immediate action.
