A victim of a recent crime at a Maryland casino has come forward to share his chilling account in hope of prompting increased security measures in casino parking areas. In an exclusive interview with Fox45 News, the man, relieved to be alive, narrated his harrowing experience to the public.
The victim, identified by the news outlet as Justin, was robbed whilst in the garage of the Horseshoe Casino in Baltimore, Maryland.
Justin stated that the alarming event took place at around 3 AM this Saturday. As he entered the stairwell, he heard suspicious sounds behind him. In a horrifying turn of events, he found himself facing the barrels of not one, but two firearms, and was ordered to raise his hands.
Justin reported that the robbers were two men, identities hidden by masks and hoodies, armed with guns. Fearful for his life, he fulfilled their demands to surrender all of his personal belongings.
In recounting the experience to Fox45, Justin noted:
My life isn’t worth my keys, my wallet, and I had a watch on. That was about it.

Justin expressed deep concern that such a terrifying incident could transpire on private property. He remarked that the Horseshoe Casino should implement a security patrol. As of now, only a handful of security personnel can be seen checking IDs indoors.
He feels that the areas of highest risk, such as the parking garages, lack adequate security measures. Justin hopes that his ordeal will serve as a paradigm shift encouraging casinos to heighten their security measures.
In related news, a man linked to a serious assault at the Muckleshoot Casino is currently being held on a $5 million bond. The situation is made more tragic by the fact that the victim was not the intended target of the attacker. Instead, the assailant, unable to find his intended victim, chose an alternative target, who succumbed to his wounds on the casino floor.
Considering the seriousness of this crime, the perpetrator now faces potential life imprisonment.
In a separate incident, a resident of New South Wales is currently on trial for the murder of a vulnerable gambling addict. The prosecution alleges that the victim was in debt and fatally assaulted by individuals who were there to collect the owed amount.
The defense lawyer for the accused, however, insists that his client was at the victim’s residence to provide assistance post the tragic incident.
