Prior to enlarging its footprint in Nevada, a key gambling market in the US, NeoGames will be required to secure licensing. This firm, which was founded in Luxemburg and is headquartered in Israel, is renowned for its pioneering technology that drives sports betting and iGaming operators.
NeoGames collaborated with Caesars Entertainment, agreeing to offer its best-in-class technology. According to the partnership deal, NeoGames plans to enhance Caesars’ operations in the sports betting and iGaming spheres. Importantly, NeoGames’ technology has demonstrated its effectiveness and is currently being utilized by lotteries as well as global gambling operators.
On Wednesday, during a 90-minute presentation before the gambling regulatory body, the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB), NeoGames management disclosed plans to employ its technology in Caesars’ operations. The C-level executives assured the NGCB that the technology is at present under scrutiny for compliance purposes.
Subsequent to the testimony, the gambling regulator unanimously endorsed the licensing for NeoGames’ individual officers and corporate entities. The favorable recommendation arrives at a pivotal moment for the company. Recently, NeoGames announced plans to merge with Aristocrat, a prominent global gaming technology company. The transaction amounting to $1.2 billion is predicted to yield substantial global expansion for Aristocrat.
Meetings Are Convened With Minimal Interval
Although the endorsement signifies a significant advancement, waiting for licensing approval from the Nevada Gaming Commission, expected on Thursday, is still on NeoGames’ itinerary.
“Coordinating extensive international travel to gather everyone is not a simple feat. We are pleased to adapt and it certainly helps to have everyone present for the commission meeting tomorrow. We are glad to play our role in reducing the earth’s carbon footprint.“
Kirk Hendrick, chairman of the Nevada Gaming Control Board
Typically, this process consumes more time, with a fortnight gap between meetings with the NGCB and Nevada Gaming Commission. However, the NGCB’s chairperson, Kirk Hendrick, justified their decision to schedule the meetings in close proximity to minimize travel for NeoGames international personnel. Hendrick recognized the ecologically friendly aspect of these arrangements and added that this tight schedule facilitates the process for NeoGames.
