The poker event with a whopping $12.5 million purse has attracted an unprecedented number of contestants and produced several millionaires from the online poker arena. The second-place finisher was player PushOrdie who pocketed $1.3 million, whilst Anzuelitico secured third place with winnings of $1 million from the lucrative event.
The final table was populated by nine players, with RiverRiot72 acquiring the smallest portion of the collective prize money, amounting to $148,600. The pivotal game was held earlier in the week, with Dominik Nitsche, a Germany native now based in Scotland, emerging as the victor.
Nitsche faced stiff competition from formidable adversaries, including the renowned WSOP 2023 Player of the Year Ina Matakis and ACR’s very own Chris Moneymaker, a reputed icon in the poker world.
Nitsche, having secured his monumental victory, shared his exhilaration. “Feeling fantastic at the moment. My hangover has finally abated. It still seems surreal. I was in my hotel room in Monaco participating in the Venom after making it to the second day in the initial flight,” Nitsche commented in response to his triumph at the final table.

Similiarly thrilled, Moneymaker labelled the event as excellent and regarded his opportunity to reach the final table as a “fortune.” Americas Cardroom routinely draws in ambitious, high-level players who eagerly participate in the platform’s online proceedings.
Among ACR stalwarts are Chris Moorman, Jon Pardy, Jeff Boski, Monika Zukowic, and Moneymaker himself, all of whom competed in the most recent Venom event. The event saw 5,000 players vying for a piece of the massive $12,616,500 prize pool, setting a record for the company’s highest grand.
From May 5 to May 27, the cardroom is set to launch the Online Super Series XL. Players will have the chance to participate in multi-million-dollar tournaments, with the highest-prize tournament offering a staggering $2.5 million.
